Is Adenty GDPR-compliant? Where is the data stored?
Yes, Adenty is GDPR-compliant. Our Privacy Policy explains what type of data we collect, for what reason, and how it is used. Moreover, we use secure Microsoft Azure cloud storage to ensure advanced security of visitor data. The Adenty Server itself is located in Germany.

How to get started with Adenty?
To start using Adenty, visit the Pricing page, pick and purchase your preferred plan. Upon purchase, you can install Adenty on your web resource using an initialization script. Once the installation is finished, Adenty starts tracking and analyzing anonymous visitors in real time. The insights are displayed on a Dashboard.

What options are available for Adenty installation on the web resource?
Adenty offers three installation options: HTML, GTM, White Label (JS). Find more information about each option in the Documentation.

Adenty can be installed on any web-based solution, be it website, web portal, web app, web-based mobile app, etc.

What devices and systems does Adenty support? Are there any restrictions?
Yes, you can integrate Adenty with your Google Analytics and authentication systems. In addition, you can subscribe to a particular event through a public object. To get a detailed instruction, follow this page.

How does Adenty affect the performance of a web resource?

Adenty doesn’t affect page speed or other web performance indicators, ensuring that CX and overall stability remain uncompromised after installation.

What anonymization measures does Adenty bypass?

Adenty can recognize visitors in the following scenarios:

  • visitor uses incognito mode
  • visitor uses VPN
  • visitor changes IP address
  • visitor clears cookies
  • visitor clears local storage
  • visitor clears browser cache
  • any browser storage blocked – coming soon

Even if a user applies these measures, Adenty can still de-anonymize visitors and recognize users who have previously visited the web resource.

Which types of fraud does Adenty detect?
Adenty discloses two types of potential fraud:
  1.  Using VPN (this may be used to bypass geographical restrictions or access limits to online content or services)
  2. Using multiple devices (this may indicate account takeover or sharing of a paid individual subscription with multiple users)
In both cases, Adenty alerts the web resource owner, providing notification with suspicious visitor ID and type of the detected fraud. Find more details on the dedicated page.

Does Adenty support cross-site visitor identification?

Yes, Adenty recognises and tracks visitors across multiple sites, if these sites are organized as a single Site Group.

Can I run Adenty on multiple sites using one Adenty plan?

Within a single plan there is no limit on the amount of web resources where Adenty can function. For better experience, multiple web resources can be organized into Site Groups, allowing Adenty to recognize visitors across them.

How can I integrate with Adenty to use its outputs?

Once Adenty runs on your web resource, you can use the JS public object “Adenty” to consume all the exposed data: Visitor ID, Recognition ID, Account ID, events. You can use IDs themself or subscribe to Adenty Events to react to them appropriately. Find more details on how to consume Adenty data in the Documentation.

Can Adenty be integrated with Google Analytics?
Yes, Adenty can be integrated with your Google Analytics to extend your existing metrics with Adenty events. Find the full list of Adenty Events in the Documentation.

Can Adenty be integrated with Auth providers?

Currently, Adenty provides basic Auth integration. Integration with additional Auth providers requires custom development and is available for Enterprise plan customers.

Can Adenty team provide custom development to add some tailored features if needed?

For Enterprise Plus plan customers, Adenty team can perform custom development, be it a custom feature or third-party integration to maximize relevance to your business needs as well as tech stack peculiarities.

No, your team doesn't have to be technically skilled. The installation of Adenty is easy, straightforward, highly-automated, and requires only basic PC skills.
